The warmest of welcomes awaits you ...

The George at Nunney is an 17th century coaching Inn in the village of Nunney, in Somerset. The Inn is a firm favourite with locals, regulars and travellers alike and has established itself with a reputation for fine food, great service and a relaxing ambience enhanced with open fires and sandstone walls.

The bar, lounge and restaurant areas are all recently refurbished with great character, featuring exposed beams and large open fireplaces. The gardens are a haven for those who enjoy drinking or dining 'al fresco'.

The village of Nunney, once described as "the prettiest village in England",  is dominated by the 14th century Nunney Castle. The moat which still surrounds the castle is said to be one of the deepest in England.  Facing the remains of Nunney Castle, The George at Nunney has a long history of welcoming guests to its roaring fires, fine Somerset dining and good ales.
